Position Overview
We are seeking a qualified School Psychologist to support students across elementary and high school settings. This role focuses on providing counseling services conducting psychological assessments and collaborating with educators and families to support student academic social and emotional development.
Assignment Details
Schedule: Monday through Friday
Shift: Day Shift (8:00 AM 4:00 PM)
Daily Hours: 8 hours (30-minute unpaid lunch)
Weekly Hours: 37.5 billable hours
Block Scheduling: Not available
Roles & Responsibilities
Provide individual and group counseling services to students at the elementary and high school levels
Conduct psychological and psychoeducational assessments and evaluations
Interpret assessment results and develop written reports and recommendations
Collaborate with teachers administrators parents and multidisciplinary teams to support student needs
Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to intervention planning
Support behavioral intervention strategies and mental health initiatives within the school setting
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with educational and regulatory requirements
Required Qualifications
Valid School Psychologist certification/licensure (as required by the state of California)
Experience working in school-based settings (elementary and/or high school preferred)
Strong assessment counseling and communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary educational environment
