About STMA Schools
We are a district that serves over 6000 students and employs 800 employees in a northwestern suburb of Minneapolis Minnesota. Our district is comprised of one primary school for preschool and kindergarten students three elementary schools for grades 1-4 two middle schools for grades 5-8 and one high school for grades 9-12.

Position Overview & Responsibilities
Responsible for providing specialized instruction and support for children with disabilities ages Birth-3years old and their families. Coordinate and conduct multidisciplinary team assessments of a child the childs family anddevelop integrated goals and outcomes for the IFSP. Consult with parents other service providers and representatives of appropriate community agencies to ensure the effective provision of services. Start date:Immediately
FTE: 1.0 (flexible)

Contract: 186 days in a full school year. If new teacherstarts soon enough with good attendance the teacher may be able to earn a year (90 student-contact days) towards tenure during the 25-26 school year if appropriately licensed depending on start date.

Requirements & Qualifications
Bachelors degree in education and required teaching certificate in related area(s) of instruction as required by theState of Minnesota specific content knowledge training or job experience required before appointment and successful student licensure from the State of Minnesota in Early Childhood Special Education; must be able to kneel stoop crouch crawl and lift up to 30 pounds.

Salary & Benefits
Competitive salary and benefits package. For more information please see theCertified Master Contract 2023-2025. Salary range listed ($46417-$94504) is a full-year salary which will be prorated for starting mid-way through the school year and is based on the collective bargaining agreement for 2024-2025 school year and may increase as the 2025-2026 collective bargaining agreement has yet to be negotiated.Full-time (1.0 FTE)certified staff benefits.
