What youd be doing
- Exhibiting our service standards to consistently provide our members with an outstanding banking experience in-person by phone and through email.
- Responding to member requests problems and complaints directly or in collaboration with team members from other departments and branches.
- Identifying member needs to cross-sell appropriate products and services that help them save time and money.
- Performing monetary and non-monetary teller transactions for members efficiently and accurately including deposits payments and withdrawals.
- Providing assistance with other operational activities like new account processing wire facilitation ATM settlement IRA and Visa/Debit card processing and more.
- Following internal policies and procedures to mitigate risk promote security and be in compliance with all applicable banking regulations.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 months working in a fast-paced in-person customer service role.
- Superior customer service task management and problem resolution skills.
- Excellent email phone and PC skills working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs and ability
- Experience in cash handling and/or balancing a cash drawer is a plus.
Physical Requirements
- Repeating motions that may include the wrists hands and/or fingers.
- Ability to use a keypad and keyboard and mouse for extended periods of time.
- Vision and hearing to normal range (or corrected).
- Adjusting lifting carrying or pushing/pulling objects up to 25 pounds in all directions.
- Remaining in a stationary position often standing or sitting for prolonged periods.
- Moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one work site to another.
- Occasional shift rotation (may require earlier or later hours) and travel to other branch locations.
Other Requirements
- We hold all our employees to high standards by performing credit and criminal background checks.
- Reliable transportation. Employees must be able to infrequently travel between branches.
- Ability to follow all credit union policies and procedures as well as all banking regulations and federal state and local laws.
