About the Role

Were looking for a Java Engineer to join a backend-focused engineering team working on enterprise-grade systems. This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in Java and Spring Boot experience working in n-tier architectures and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues efficiently.

Youll work in an Agile environment contributing to the design development and maintenance of backend services that support high-traffic mission-critical applications running in the cloud.

Key Responsibilities

• Design develop and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot.

• Contribute to and support n-tier enterprise architectures.

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues in a timely and effective manner.

• Work with cloud-based services particularly within AWS environments.

• Implement and support message-driven and event-based integrations using services such as SQS and data streaming tools.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams following Agile software development practices.

• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines ensuring reliable builds deployments and releases.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong professional experience developing backend systems with Java using Spring Boot in enterprise environments.

• Solid understanding of n-tier architectures and backend application design.

• Familiarity with AWS services such as S3 SQS (message queuing) and data streaming solutions.

• Understanding of CI/CD principles including build deployment and release automation.

• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues efficiently.

Nice to Have

• Experience supporting high-scale or high-availability systems.

• Familiarity with distributed systems or microservices architectures.

• Exposure to monitoring logging and observability tools.
