As part of our commitment to the development of the next generation of Behavioral Health care providers we are actively looking for individuals currently enrolled in their Masters Program with an emphasis in Psychology Social Work Counseling and other behavioral health specialties. Olive Ave Health Center

Location: 6153 W Olive Ave Glendale AZ 85302

Hours: Flexible Monday Saturday 8am 8pm varying depending on the interns availability

Under the supervision of a qualified Terros Health professional; the student-intern will perform tasks related to their specific area of study and the Intern learning a highly professional healthcare setting provided by Terros Health; the student will be given an opportunity to apply and continue to learn by practical application the principals theory and knowledge from their related course work.

The intern would assist with coverage of the clinic and its clinical staff by conducting initial intakes facilitation of group individual appointments case management and additional coverage as needed to assist the clinic to run smoothly. These internships will receive a well-rounded experience in the behavioral health field during this time.

Upon completion of the program the student will have learned:

• Complete intakes
• Cover for groups
• Conduct individual sessions
• Case management and outreach

Intern will be able to demonstrate clinical skills to successfully move forward with academic and professional goals.

• Applicants will possess the following attributes: Good time management ability to multi-task eager to learn familiar with technology is a plus
• Applicant must be currently enrolled in a supervised field instruction class
• Graduate level i.e. Social Work Counseling.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong presentation skills are highly desired.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Completion of the pre-student/Intern/Practicum onboarding process as determined solely at the discretion of Terros Health which may include a criminal background check and a pre-employment drug screen
• Must have a valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance card or apply for an Arizona fingerprint clearance card (Level 1) within 7 working days of assuming role.
