The Opportunity
The Financial Analyst an FP&A professional willreport throughCardiac Rhythm Managements Global Freight & Distribution Finance team. This Global Finance team is responsible for financial forecasting of all distribution warehousing and freight logistics for Abbotts Cardiovascular and Neuromodulation businesses. This position will be based in our soon to be completed distribution facility in Avon IN. Until the facility is completed the role will be temporarily based in Abbotts Structural Heart location Westfield IN.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
The Financial Analyst will provide financial planning analysis and reporting to management for the Global Freight & Distribution organization with a specific emphasis on our US Caribbean & Latin America (CALA) operations. This role will assist with monthly financial closing activities as well as preparing financial models ad hoc analysis and presentations supporting the quarterly LBE (latest best estimate) forecasting cycles.
What Youll Work On:
- Routinely performs financial planning and analysis activities for the Global Freight & Distribution network with a focus on expense management. May include any combination of the following areas: budgeting and forecasting accrual of liabilities gross margin improvement projects capital projects FX and headcount reporting
- Participates in ad hoc analysis and reporting as required by finance management.
- Provides routine reports to management based on knowledge of finance systems and knowledge of the Global Freight & Distribution operations.
- Partners with key geographies to consolidate month-end analysis and commentary related to the financial close cycle
- Prepares consolidated reporting presentations and analysis for quarterly LBE cycles.
- Executes annual goals and objectives as defined by the Global Freight & Distribution team

Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in finance Accounting Business Administration or related field.
- 1 year(s) of related experience.
- Previous experience working with MS Office Suite: Excel and PowerPoint; must have strong proficiency with relevant financial systems applications.
- Ability to work in a highly matrixed and geographically diverse business environment.
- Ability to work within a team and as an individual contributor in a fast-paced changing environment.
- Ability to leverage and/or engage others to accomplish projects.
- Strong verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization.
The base pay for this position is
$61300.00 $122700.00
In specific locations the pay range may vary from the range posted.
