The role
The focus of this role is to take responsibility for the development and management of existing customer accounts along with obtaining new business within the small business & commercial market to maximise profits and achieve sales objectives. This autonomous role will require you to acquire new customers while continuing to identify and deliver solutions to expand our current customers.
You will be responsible for building and nurturing strong customer relationships across the Kerikeri and Northland region. Identifying opportunities to deliver sustainable value-added solutions. This role covers the full sales cyclefrom managing tenders to negotiating pricing and finalising contracts.
Providing a high level of service that will consolidate long-term relationships you will play a pivotal role in ensuring service excellence and assisting our clients achieve their long-term sustainability goals.
You will be provided with an Electric Vehicle (EV) laptop and mobile phone. With the expectation that you work out of the office based in Kerikeri you will be regularly travelling around the region visiting existing customers and developing new business leads. There will be some flexibility around working from home.
Qualifications :
About you
Youre motivated realistic and self-sufficient. You are a natural at building strong relationships to ensure you deliver on targets and drive the regions sales. You are a confident self-starter who will be perfectly at ease working alone in the region happy to do whatever is necessary to ensure our customers high standards of service delivery are met. To succeed in this role you will have excellent time management and organisational skills.
Ideally you have some prior experience in sales and account management demonstrating some understanding of market dynamics and customer needs. Equally important is your ability to create and maintain business relationships combined with self-management and a personal drive to consistently achieve and exceed performance targets.
