Job Summary

Description:

Intermittently drive a school vehicle safely in accordance with time schedules; safely transportMcKinney-Ventostudents to and from their homes a variety of school sites andother places as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED Equivalent

Valid Oklahoma Drivers License

Responsibilities and Essential Functions:

Intermittently (onlywhen needed) drive a school vehicle to pick up students for school and/or take students home.
Oversees the loading and unloading of students releasing students to authorized individual(s)
Maintains order and proper discipline of passengers; resolving disputes documents and reports severe disciplinaryissues
Conducts established safety and operational inspection of assigned vehicle daily
Assures maintenance of the vehiclein safe and clean operating condition; reports needed mechanical repairs services the vehicle with gas as needed and follows established security procedures
Maintains a variety of records and reports including but not limited to mileage routing maintenance and time schedules
Attends meetings programs and in-service training as assigned
Maintains current required licenses and certificates
Notifies appropriate individuals of any delays in the scheduled route
Performs other related duties as assigned
