Job Description:


The Inventory Clerk supports the Maintenance Department by managing mechanical inventory used for aircraft maintenance. Responsibilities include receiving storing distributing and tracking parts in accordance with company procedures and FAA/PMA requirements. The role also involves shipping parts for repair completing minor repairs as delegated under the repair station certificate maintaining accurate inventory records issuing tools and parts to mechanics and ensuring compliance with hazardous materials regulations. Additional duties include replenishing consumables tracking calibration and shelflife expiration supporting annual physical inventory and delivering strong internal and external customer service.

  • Receive and store parts in accordance with company procedures and maintain an organized parts room.
  • Take inventory of parts maintain accurate records based on work orders and distribute parts in a timely manner.
  • Ship parts requiring repair.
  • Repair small aircraft parts as delegated by the manager.
  • Ensure all parts meet FAA/Parts Manufacturing Authorization (PMA) standards.
  • Issue tools and parts to mechanics.
  • Update internal databases accurately.
  • Ensure compliance with hazardous materials regulations for shipping and receiving.
  • Maintain parts room in accordance with company guidelines.
  • Replenish inspection carts hardware racks and liquid consumables.
  • Track calibration requirements and shelflife expiration dates.
  • Provide internal and external customer service.
  • Assist with annual physical inventory and maintain a perpetual inventory binmaintenance system.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements:

  • Constantly ascends or descends ladders stairs scaffolding ramps and poles.
  • Occasionally moves in various positions including tight or confined spaces.
  • Occasionally remains stationary (standing or sitting).
  • Constantly adjusts or moves objects up to 50 pounds.
  • Constantly communicates with others to exchange information.
  • Occasionally performs repetitive motions with wrists hands and fingers.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma.
  • 25 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong sense of urgency.
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to a fastpaced changing environment.
  • Ability to learn company software and systems.
  • Effective organization and timemanagement skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word Excel and Outlook.
  • Fluency in English.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Oracle system experience.
  • Aviation industry experience.
