Job Summary
Womens Care a physician-led organization is expanding our established Womens Health Hospitalists program across premier hospital locations in the Tampa Bay area.
Hospitalist Program Overview
- Physicians are employed directly with the hospitalists program
- On average 7 24-hour shifts per month to achieve full-time employment status
- No call - enjoy a work-life balance
- The Womens Care physician staff provides back-up coverage when needed

Qualifications
Qualifications / Requirements:
- MD/DO
- 3 Years of Practice Experience
- Unrestricted State Medical License
- Unrestricted DEA License or ability to obtain
- OB/GYN BC/BE (ABOG AOBOG)
- Board certification required within 5 years of eligibility
- BLS
About the Opportunity:
The Ob/Gyn Hospitalist Program at Womens Care provides 24-hour obstetrical and gynecological coverage at hospitals in the Tampa and surrounding physicians enjoy working hard when they are working and being completely off when they are no call responsibilities!This is an employed opportunity so you are benefits eligible for health/dental/vision insurance retirement vestment and CME stipendall while only working 7 24-hour shifts per month.
- Level III NICU - 33 rooms currently - Neonatologist in house 24/7
- 24/7 Anesthesia with 4 ORs
- 33 Post-Partum Rooms
- 7 Antepartum Rooms
- 17 Labor and Delivery Rooms
- MFM is onsite.
