Customized Employment Coach

Through creativity flexibility and community collaboration CIS provides individualized person-centered support and training to help individuals with disabilities attain their employment goals.

The Customized Employment Team is currently hiring a coach to work with artists and artisans to assist with the creation and sales of their artwork. Coaches will assist artists with artwork creation by supporting them in their studio practice assisting with packaging and branding website creation promotion of artist work and developing individualized sales and exhibition opportunities.

Please note: An ideal candidate will have personal artistic or craft practice and a strong network of relationships in the greater Philadelphia arts community. Duties may be split between customized and traditional coaching in the community.

• Ability to handle flexible work arrangements.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage very time-sensitive tasks

• A Bachelors or Master of Fine Arts or substantive experience in the arts is required.
• Ability to effectively use Microsoft Office products specifically Outlook Excel and Word.
• Possess valid drivers license and automobile insurance.
• Must have access to an automobile and internet access at home.
• Must be able to travel throughout Philadelphia and surrounding counties.
• Able to pass all required background checks.
