Evaluation Period: Annual performance evaluations if the student works the entire academic year. If the student works one semester the performance evaluation will be completed after that semester

Purpose of Position: The Database & Research Assistant supports the fundraising efforts of Pregnancy Center West by maintaining accurate donor records conducting donor and prospect research and assisting with the data-driven strategies for donor engagement and stewardship.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage and update donor database (e.g. contact information giving history correspondence).
  • Generate reports mailing lists and donor acknowledgements as needed.
  • Conduct research on prospective donors foundations and community partners to support development goals.
  • Assist with donor segmentation and targeted outreach for campaigns and events.
  • Ensure data integrity and implement best practices for data entry and management.
  • Support fundraising events with data tracking registration and post-event analysis.
  • Maintain confidentiality of donor and organizational information.



Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled at Mt. St. Joseph University
  • Federal Work Study eligibility required
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Interest in nonprofit work and alignment with the mission of Pregnancy Center West.

This is a Federal Work Study (FWS) position. Meaning that hours worked will be paid to the student through a Federal grant that is awarded to the student. FWS positions are available for the academic year only FWS is not available during the summer. Students may not exceed the funds that are awarded to them. When the awarded amount has been met the student may no longer work in an FWS position both the student and supervisor will be notified when/if this were to occur.
