WHAT IS THIS POSITION RESPONSIBLE FOR
- Provide regularly scheduled visits in the home of the client with services based on both the outcomes of the Risk Factor Assessment tool as well as the results from Child Development Screens.
- Assist parents to increase their ability to problem solve and assume the role of advocate for themselves and their children.
- Collaborate with supervisors and families to construct Individual Family Support Plans (IFSP) with achievable goals objectives and activities.
- Seek and identify family strengths; recognize dysfunction and apply appropriate interventions as needed.
QualificationsWHATS REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION
- Applicants must have a High School Diploma or GED and be 21 years of age.
- Applicants mustbe available the first week of employment to attend a full-time first shift (8am-5pm) orientation and training program.
- Candidates must be able to establish trusting relationshipsfunctionfrom within astrength-basedperspective and successfully interact with families from other cultures.
- Demonstrated proficiency with interpersonal and writing skills.
- Excellent communication time management and organizational skills.
- Must have valid drivers license and qualify for Companys vehicle liability insurance.
- Candidates must pass required background checks including county/state checks fingerprinting CPS check sex offender registry check and drug screen.
