DescriptionSouthwestern Behavioral Healthcare is seeking dedicated and compassionate Full-Time and Part-Time Mental Health Technicians to join our team across 1st 2nd and 3rd shifts. In this role you will work within our Supervised Group living and/or residential dual diagnosis programs for adults providing supervision support and skill-building assistance to help clients achieve their highest level of independence.
Starting Pay $16 per hour

WHAT IS THIS POSITION RESPONSIBLE FOR
- Mental Health Technicians work in a residential setting with individuals who have severe and persistent mental illness and/or substance use disorder to assist in developing recovery and independent living skills.
- We utilize a person centered approach to help residents reach their recovery goals.
- Mental Health Techniciansare not responsible for hands-on care.
- We offer an individualized orientation program to help you learn how to effectively work with our residents that must be completed within six months of hire.
QualificationsWHATS REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience working with individuals having psychiatric conditions desirable.
- Work schedule:40 hours per week
- Schedule 1stshift: 7:00 am- 3:00 pm; 2nd shift: 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm;3rd shift: 11:00 pm - 7:00 am.
- Demonstrated proficiency with interpersonal and writing skills.
- Excellent communication time management and organizational skills.
- Must have valid drivers license and qualify for Companys vehicle liability insurance.
- Candidates must pass required background checks including county/state checks sex offender registry check and drug screen.
