We are seeking a Senior Accountant / Team Leader with at least 5 years of experience in Australian public accounting. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge and the ability to oversee and delegate tasks to their team.

About the Role
- Provide team guidance and technical advice creating a collaborative work environment.
- Work with Senior Management to streamline processes and develop operational efficiencies.
- Review and delegate compliance tasks (financial reports tax returns etc.).
- Oversee annual tax planning and provide specialised tax optimisation advice.
- Review and manage advisory reports on clients business performance and strategic planning.
- Communicate complex accounting taxation and business matters clearly.
Skills and Experience
- Minimum 5 years in tax and business services roles.
- At least 2 years as a manager or team leader.
- Proven track record in workflow management and meeting client deadlines.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience servicing a diverse client base.
- Proficiency in accounting software especially Xero.
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
