Salary Range:
The successful candidate will have access to step increases for the grade based on competency assessment and tenure within this position.
The role also offers access to a leaseback vehicle and agile working conditions such as a four-day week or nine-day fortnight as well as the option to include working from home. This is subject to operational requirements.

The Opportunity
Strathfield Council is seeking a motivated Senior Environmental Health Officer to join our team.
In this role you will lead investigations and enforcement activities relating to public and environmental health providing expert advice and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation. You will manage a varied workload across food safety pollution and public health matters working closely with internal teams external agencies and the community.
This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a growing local government area contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and mentor Environmental Health Officers while supporting positive outcomes for community health and wellbeing.
