We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) to manage maintain and optimize enterprise Oracle database environments. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring database availability security performance and integrity while supporting mission-critical business systems.
This position is strictly limited to candidates who currently reside in the United States and are legally authorized to work in the U.S. Applications from individuals residing outside the United States will not be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
Install configure upgrade and maintain Oracle database systems (including RAC ASM and Data Guard where applicable)
Monitor database performance identify bottlenecks and implement performance tuning solutions
Ensure high availability disaster recovery backup and recovery strategies are properly implemented and tested
Manage database security including user access roles auditing and compliance with organizational policies
Perform routine maintenance tasks such as patching upgrades and capacity planning
Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues in a timely and effective manner
Collaborate with application developers system administrators and IT leadership to support business initiatives
Maintain accurate documentation for database configurations procedures and standards
Ensure compliance with regulatory security and data governance requirements
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)
Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience as an Oracle Database Administrator
Strong expertise in Oracle Database architecture administration and performance tuning
Proficiency in SQL PL/SQL and Oracle utilities (RMAN OEM Data Pump)
Experience with Linux/Unix operating systems
Strong analytical problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Excellent communication and documentation abilities
Compensation:
Annual Salary Range: $115000 $145000 USD commensurate with experience skills and location
