About the Role

DMS Landscaping is seeking an experienced and dependable Irrigation Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for the installation maintenance troubleshooting and repair of irrigation systems across a variety of properties. The ideal candidate enjoys working outdoors is mechanically inclined and can adapt to changing priorities throughout the workday.

Key Responsibilities

• Install maintain diagnose and repair irrigation systems including irrigation lines sprinkler heads control panels valves pumps and related components
• Operate power equipment and hand tools safely and efficiently including trenching machines and digging equipment
• Inspect irrigation systems to ensure proper operation coverage pressure and timing
• Perform seasonal services such as system start-ups charging winterization and draining
• Assist with the design layout or modification of new or existing irrigation systems as needed
• Maintain inventory of irrigation parts tools and supplies
• Lead or assist crew members on irrigation-related projects when required
• Support other grounds or landscaping assignments as needed
• Adapt to changes in daily workflow to meet project demands and deadlines

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of irrigation system design installation maintenance and repair
• Familiarity with irrigation tools materials equipment and industry best practices
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints schematics and technical drawings
• Ability to safely operate trenching machines digging tools and related equipment
• Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
• Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions and perform physical labor
