Long-Term Substitute: K-2nd Grade Online School

LISA Academy is seeking a highly motivated and tech-savvyLong-Term Substituteto lead our K-2nd grade virtual classroom. This role is unique combining the flexibility of online instruction with essential in-person engagement. The ideal candidate is a master communicator who can keep young learners inspired through a screen and in the classroom.

Position Qualifications

Education:High school diploma or GED required.
Experience:At least 1 year of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
- Note: Completed degrees from an accredited institution above the minimum requirement may be substituted for experience on a year-for-year basis.
Technology Mastery:Must be highly skilled in educational technology and a quick learner of new portals LMS platforms and video conferencing tools.
Communication:Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are mandatory for interacting with students parents and staff in a remote environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

Live Virtual Instruction:Deliver online curriculum via live video sessions utilizing engaging methods tailored for K-2nd grade.
On-Campus Engagement:Lead in-person classroom activities and supervise students for safety and social-emotional growth when they attend on-campus everyTuesday.
Lesson Execution:Ability to use preparedlesson outlines plans and curricula.
Student Progress:Maintain daily records track student progress and proactively intervene to help students meet learning milestones.
Parent Partnership:Act as the primary point of contact for parents regarding student progress and instructional needs.
Collaborative Support:Provide a safe and stimulating educational environment guiding any assigned interns or volunteers as needed.
Classroom Management:Manage both a virtual and physical learning environment to enhance student focus and participation.
