Position Overview
We are seeking a licensed School LVN / LPN to support student health services in a school-based setting. This role provides general nursing care to the student population and supports daily health needs in collaboration with school administrators and healthcare staff. This is not a one-to-one (1:1) assignment.
Assignment Details
Contract Duration: 20 weeks
Schedule: Monday through Friday
Shift: Day Shift (8:00 AM 4:00 PM)
Weekly Hours: 37.5 billable hours
Block Scheduling: Not available
Orientation: All orientation hours are billable
Roles & Responsibilities
Provide routine nursing care and first aid services to students during school hours
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and in accordance with school health protocols
Monitor student health conditions and respond to illness or injury
Maintain accurate health records and documentation per school and regulatory guidelines
Collaborate with school staff parents and healthcare providers to support student health needs
Support health screenings and preventive care initiatives
Ensure compliance with applicable health and safety standards
Required Qualifications
Active California LVN license
Experience in school health or pediatric care preferred
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to work independently in a school-based environment
Additional Information
School assignment and student age group to be determined
This role is not a 1:1 student position
Onsite role in Lompoc CA
