Job Summary

Were hiring a full-time Safety Officer to join our team at our Montebello and Right Place Facilities.
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 9:00 PM 5:00 AM
What Youll Be Doing
As a Safety Officer you would play a central role in providing the very best service and support to our clients and staff by securing various facilities. As a visible first contact for guests the Safety Officer will enhance the guests experience by providing assistance and information. For staff the Officer will be a reminder of Health Solutions commitment to a safe and secure workplace.
RESPONSIBILITIES: As a Safety Officer under the supervision of the Director and Supervisor you will:
- Greets customers when they come into our reception areas and asks if they need assistance; if so assists as needed
- Ensures the security safety and well-being of all personnel visitors and the premises
- Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitors surveillance equipment; inspects buildings equipment and access points
- Completes reports by recording observations accurate information occurrences
- Engages and coordinates emergency response as needed
- Maintains a calm and professional demeanor in stressful or emergency situations
- Adheres to all company policies and procedures
- Respects the privacy and confidentiality of people seeking healthcare services in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Secures all exits doors and windows after end of operations
- Agrees to occasional intermittent work on unscheduled workdays for agency events; and
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned by the supervisor

Physical requirements include the following:
- Requires frequent standing sitting and walking for prolonged periods of time
- Occasionally lifts and carries items up to 50 pounds
- Requires working under stress in emergency situations
- Requires normal range of hearing and eyesight to record data electronically and communicate with clients
- Occasional exposure to communicable diseases and bodily fluids
- Requires frequent use computer operation including keyboard and mouse

Qualifications
What were looking ForThe Must-Haves
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- At least three years of law enforcement security or military experience
- Ability to safely lift carry push and/or pull up to 50 pounds
- Colorado drivers license
- Basic computer including e-messaging and documentation skills
- Ability to work days weekends holidays and various shifts
