Job Summary
Join our innovative Mobile Crisis Team! Southwestern Behavioral Healthcare is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Full-Time Peer Support Specialist to join our First Shift team. If youre passionate about making a real impact in times of crisis we want to hear from you. Please note: Weekend availability is required.
Hourly rate for Crisis Service Peer Support Specialist with Certification by DMHA as a Certified Peer $17/hour
Hourly rate for Crisis Service Peer Support Specialist with NO Certification $16/hour

WHAT IS THIS POSITION RESPONSIBLE FOR
- Peer Recovery services which include but are not limited to crisis intervention community outreach and engagement.
- Observe the progress clients make toward meeting objectives and provide feedback to clients and treatment providers.
- Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team of professionals.
- Interact positively by phone and in person with individuals experiencing acute crisis.
- Establish rapport using your personal experience as a person in recovery.
Qualifications
WHATS REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Certification as a Certified Peer Support Professional preferred. Eligibility to receive certification required.

- Demonstrated proficiency with interpersonal and writing skills.
- Excellent communication time management and organizational skills.
- Must have valid drivers license auto insurance that meets the Indiana State minimum coverage requirementand qualify for Companys vehicle liability insurance.
- Candidates must pass required background checks including county/state checks and drug screen.
