Hourly Range: $39.57 $53.34 (based on experience; up to 17 years)

Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a skilled Trauma Operating Room Registered Nurse to provide high-acuity patient-centered perioperative care in a Level I Adult and Pediatric Trauma Center. The RN will support emergent and complex trauma surgical procedures applying strong clinical judgment and technical expertise in a fast-paced high-stakes environment. The nurse will function as an essential member of the surgical and trauma team ensuring safe efficient and compliant care delivery throughout the perioperative continuum.
Key Responsibilities:
Assume responsibility and accountability for assigned trauma surgical patients during designated shifts
Deliver perioperative nursing care using the nursing process evidence-based practice and trauma protocols
Prepare operating rooms for trauma cases including equipment instrumentation and sterile field setup
Collaborate with trauma surgeons anesthesiology surgical technologists and interdisciplinary teams
Maintain compliance with hospital policies Joint Commission standards and trauma center regulations
Respond rapidly and effectively to emergent trauma cases
Ensure accurate documentation and adherence to patient safety standards
Required Qualifications:
Active Florida RN license or approved multistate compact license
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
Minimum 2 years of Trauma OR RN experience in an acute care hospital
Hands-on Trauma OR experience in a high-acuity surgical/trauma setting
Certifications:
BLS (AHA) required within 30 days of start
ACLS (AHA) required within 30 days of start
