We are currently seeking a per diemCertified Nursing Assistantto join our team at Everglades Correctional Institution located in Miami Florida.The CNA works under the close direction of nursing medical and psychiatric staff to perform direct patient care to incarcerated individuals. The Certified Nursing Assistant (Behavioral Health) (CNA) works under the close direction of nursing medical and psychiatric staff to perform direct patient care to incarcerated individuals. This professional assists patients by supporting personal hygiene daily living needs and vital sign monitoring.
8hr day shift
Qualifications High school diploma or GED equivalent required
Active Maryland Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license or ability to obtain one required
Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
One (1) year of experience in acute care long-term care emergency or correctional environment preferred
Ability to obtain a security clearance to include drug screen and criminal background check
Required Experience:
