What does this role entail
The Principal Consultant role is a leadership position that requires expert-level knowledge of domain product and deliverymethodologyto guide and successfully implement Fenergos product offering within the client addition to strong deliveryexpertise the Principal Consultantoperatesin an advisory capacity engaging with clients from the outset to understand their strategicobjectivesand align them with Fenergos market solutions. Byleveragingdeep industry insight and best practices the Principal Consultant guides clients towardoptimalsolution design and implementation ensuring business value regulatory compliance and long-term success.

- Client Lifecycle Management (CLM)within the financial services industry;
- Digital Transformation Platform & Delivery Methodology
- Financial Crime Compliance including anti-money laundering anti-terrorist financing

The successful candidate will act as a trusted advisor leading by example and shaping the strategic direction of client engagements. They willleveragedeep domain and productexpertiseto guide clients toward best-practice solutions ensuring alignment with market standards and Fenergos value addition to providing subject matterexpertiseand solutioning support the Principal Consultant will proactivelyidentifyopportunities tooptimizebusiness outcomes and influence stakeholders across all levels both internally and externally.
The Principal Consultant will ensure clients realise measurable value from their investment in Fenergos solutions swiftly and sustainably positioning Fenergo as a long-term strategic areexpected tohave strong commercial acumen and an understanding of the commercial impact at all stages of delivery. The PrincipalConsultant will also support client solutions and sales as needed ensuring best-practice design andidentifyingclient needs for alignment with product strategy.
Theabilityto travel (domestic and international) to attend on-site client meetings and/or to other Fenergo offices is alsorequired.
Main Responsibilities:
- Act as a trusted advisorto clientsleveragingdeep domain and productexpertiseto shape strategic discussions and guide clients toward market-leading solutions using Fenergo.
- Deliver tailored demonstrations and solution walkthroughsthat illustrate how Fenergos capabilities align with clientobjectivesand industry best practices.
- Engage consultatively with clients challengingassumptionsand requirements to co-createoptimal scalable solutions that deliver measurable business value and align with Fenergos strategic vision.
- Anticipate potential risks or delivery challenges advising both clients and internal teams on mitigation strategies to ensure smooth execution and project success.
- Lead proactive stakeholder communication providing clear insight-driven updates and ensuring alignment across client and internal teams.
- Support pre-sales and business development effortsby contributing advisory insight shaping proposals and articulating Fenergos value proposition to prospective clients.
Practiceand leadership:
- Playa supporting role in shaping the direction of theFunctional DeliveryPractice
- Support employee developmentthrough line management andbecoming an SME in multiple parts of the Fenergo Product andregularly deliveringtraining on these areas
- Implement efficiencies and improvements that drive consistent repeatable successful delivery
- Keep up to date with changes inindustry and regulatory practicestheproduct offering and content hub
- Support the Director Functional Delivery and CCO(Chief Customer Organization)in regional change management efforts

RequirementsRequired Experience & Skills
- Minimum of 10 yearsindustry and domainexperience implementingconsultingor managing software projects and working on the vendor sidewithin the financial services industry
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- Strong interpersonal/leadership skills ability to shape and lead conversations at all levels
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
