Due to growing demand for our consultancy services we are seeking a consultant responsible for the configuration administration and ongoing optimisation of project management systems and associated reporting tools in Power BI. The role ensures the stability accuracy and usability of the project management environment supports users across the organisation and maintains dashboards that provide realtime performance insight for projects programmes and portfolios.
Key Responsibilities
Configure maintain and optimise project management systems and related features
Manage workflows custom fields lookup tables and security permissions
Monitor system performance perform routine housekeeping and ensure high platform availability
Coordinate with clients IT team on patching updates and systemrelated issues
Maintain and enhance dashboards in Power BI (or equivalent BI tools)
Ensure data refresh schedules connections and gateway configurations are reliable and secure
Provide daytoday user support troubleshooting and issue resolution for users
Develop training materials user guides and process documentation
Conduct onboarding and refresher training sessions for project managers schedulers and PMO teams
Identify opportunities to enhance system functionality user experience and data quality
Qualifications :
Minimum of 1 year of experience in administering and maintaining systems and dashboards
Bachelors degree in STEM related subjects e.g. Mathematics Computer Science
Good knowledge of construction industry technical matters such as procurement design construction and handover
Strong understanding of project programme and portfolio management processes
Hands-on experience in administering project management systems (e.g. MS Project Web App Oracle Primavera Cloud etc.)
Hands-on experience in reporting tools such as Power BI
Desirable Skills and Accreditations
Knowledge of PMO frameworks (PRINCE2 APM PMI)
Familiarity with SQL DAX or data modelling
