Description of the Position: Manage on-campus concert logistics in Boe Chapel and Skoglund.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage approximately 5-10 weekend concerts per semester
- Includes on-the-job training
- Attend pre-concert briefing with Music Orgs staff
- Arrive at the venue before the concert and stay for duration
- Be a resource to troubleshoot issues before during and after the concert
- Connect with the conductor student manager guest artists lead usher Broadcast media and others as needed
- Ensure that the concert space is tidy and arranged as needed
- Complete a concert report following the event
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Experience with music concerts/performances
- Excellent organizational skills
- Responsive and prompt communicator
- Understanding of general concert etiquette
- Interpersonal skills
- Ability to problem solve and remain calm under stress
- Strong leadership
Ability to work weekends and evenings
