Job Summary

Summary:

Primary responsibility is teaching History at the high school level.

Qualifications:

Applicants must be eligible for a Virginia teaching license with a History and Social Sciences. License eligibility may be met through any of the following routes:

Completed an approved teacher preparation program in history;
Hold a bachelors degree in history from an accredited institute

Salary:

Rangebased on the 2025-2026 Teacher Salary Scale is $53000 - $82243 with additional supplemental pay for a graduate degree. The salary scale may be adjusted based on the 2026-2027 school board budget.
