Job Summary
PLEASE UPLOAD RESUME TO SCHOOLSPRINGLincoln Public Schools is seeking a Computer Technician to join our team!Function:Diagnose respond and resolve technical failures in a timely fashion to maintain consistent use of all hardware provide direct responsibility for maintenance operational efficiency and appearance of all computers and hardware. Performs preventative maintenance on all existing systems to include the wide-area network and other related technology duties as may be a 12 month positionRESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: technical support for Windows Windows server related OS and Google for configuration and set up of Windows Windows server related OS and Google and correct hardware problems in a timely immediate technical support to hardware and software the anti-virus software patches are installed kept up-to-date and working properly on all files as required by staff for student and staff up and maintain user e-mail new computer equipment on arrival and install as computer equipment inventory including recording serial numbers and locations as well as surpluses and removed equipment. computer peripheral equipment (scanners printers projectors etc.) ensuring that they are prepared and ready for a log of all technical periodic review and schedule maintenance of existing computers and phones intercom and camera with external support companies as needed to resolve faults speedily as well as for the repair of equipment under warranty or maintenance up maintain and remove user network accounts where out routine network maintenance familiar with the network infrastructure (cable and patch panel router switch ATM) and troubleshooting suppliers recommended related duties as may be assigned by the Information Technology specialist and/or their designee.
