With over 36 million visits annually to the National Mall combined with aging infrastructure and the need for better visitor amenities throughout the park the Trust is helping the National Park Service tackle the more than $800 million needed for critical repairs and improvements.

Brief Position Summary
The Sr. Manager of Corporate Engagement plays an important role in building securing and expanding support from corporate partners for the National Mall and the National Park Service (NPS). The Sr. Manager of Corporate Engagement is an integral member of the Philanthropy Team and reports to the Vice President of Philanthropy. The Sr. Manager of Corporate Engagement serves as a key member of the Philanthropy Team by identifying soliciting and securing commitment of revenue-generating partnerships with corporations locally and nationally. The Sr. Manager of Corporate Engagement will work with the VP of Philanthropy and Sr. Director of Philanthropy to secure new partnerships to generate incremental revenue for the organization in support of the mission. The Sr. Manager of Corporate Engagement also collaborates with the Philanthropy Team in support of programming events Ball for the Mall and other initiatives within the Trust as needed.
Salary Range: $101000 to $110000
Responsibilities
Frontline Fundraising (90%)
- Generate revenue through securing new corporate donors both restricted and unrestricted revenue.
- Generate revenue by increased corporate donor funds through stewarding existing corporate donors.
- Manage and execute corporate partnership fulfillment ensuring benefits and recognition are delivered across agreed-upon platforms including the website newsletters social media etc.
- Develop and implement stewardship plans to cultivate and retain corporate donors enhancing engagement and long-term commitment.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure corporate partners receive timely updates impact reports and opportunities for deeper engagement.
- Research and discovery of new prospects who have affinity ability and access.
- Create compelling donor development tools such as letters proposals decks and email communications in support of donor pursuit.
- Support generating awareness of the Trust for the national Mall with corporate prospects and business groups through one-to-one outreach and group opportunities.
- Liaise with colleagues to collaborate and understand projects and initiatives to introduce corporate prospects.
Team and Relationship Building (10%):
- Develop a deep understanding of the Trusts mission and impact to serve as a key ambassador expert communicator and relationship builder both internally and externally.
- Serve as a strong external representative for the Trust for the National Mall developing and maintaining positive relationships with donors.
- Actively participate in building organizational and team culture aligned with the Trusts values.
- Other duties as assigned.
Key Skills
- Experience securing at least five- and six- figure gifts or sales.
- Pipeline donor and client management expertise.
- An entrepreneurial mindset and excitement to close gifts.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable in group settings with high-level executives public officials and celebrities.
- Ability to efficiently conduct research on corporations and corporate leaders and finding connections.

Education
- Bachelors degree or commensurate experience.
Experience
- Minimum 5-8 years relevant experience working in corporate partnerships/sponsorship development.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and Salesforce preferred not .
