Position Summary

A outpatient orthopedic imaging practice is seeking a full-time X-Ray Technologist for a 13-week contract assignment. This role focuses on providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to orthopedic patients in a fast-paced multi-site clinical environment.

Responsibilities

Perform general diagnostic X-ray procedures with an emphasis on orthopedic imaging.
Accurately position patients to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
Operate standard radiology equipment safely and effectively.
Provide excellent patient care and clear communication throughout imaging procedures.
Assist with image acquisition while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
Float to additional clinic locations as needed to support operational needs.
Maintain compliance with departmental protocols and radiation safety standards.

Required Skills & Experience

Experience performing general X-ray procedures.
Orthopedic imaging experience preferred.
Ability to work independently and in a multi-site/floating environment.
Strong interpersonal and patient communication skills.

Certifications & Licensure

Active State Radiologic/X-Ray Technologist license (if applicable).
BLS certification recommended.
