The Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for overseeing maintaining and optimizing parts inventory accuracy across the dealership. This role plays a critical part in supporting sales service and accounting by ensuring inventory records align with physical stock manufacturer requirements and internal controls.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular physical inventories and cycle counts
- Managing special orders for on-going work in the shop
- Driving to different dealerships to pick up parts
- Checking in the stock order daily
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization at your station and throughout the parts department
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Basic understanding of accounting and inventory controls
- Ability to analyze problems and resolve discrepancies efficiently
- May require occasional lifting walking inventory areas and extended standing
Preferred Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of Dealertrack/XTime
- Prior experience in automotive parts
Work Environment:
- Fast-paced dealership setting with multiple priorities
