Job Title: Behavior Assistant Special Education (SPED)

Schedule: MondayFriday 7:15 AM 2:30 PM
Pay Rate: $27/hour
Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a patient and student-focused Behavior Assistant to support special education teams in delivering behavioral emotional and academic support. This role involves implementing behavior plans supporting IEPs and maintaining a safe structured learning environment.
Responsibilities
Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and positive behavior strategies
Provide one-on-one and small-group student support
Assist with social emotional and academic skill development
Observe document and track behavioral progress
Support classroom activities transitions and supervision
Assist with de-escalation using approved techniques
Collaborate with teachers counselors and behavior specialists
Qualifications
High school diploma required; relevant coursework preferred
Experience with children SPED behavioral support ABA Autism or PBIS preferred
Ability to work calmly in high-energy situations
Strong communication documentation and teamwork skills
Patient reliable and committed to inclusive education
