External Affairs International (EAi) part of the Roche Pharma CEO Office ensures the company can shape the policies funding decisions and market conditions that determine how healthcare innovation is valued and rewarded. We influence globally where strategic priorities are defined and enable locally where business impact is delivered. Through focused advocacy and a connected global network EAi builds trusted relationships with governments multilateral institutions and global partners develops third-party advocates and forges alliances that protect and grow Roches business while improving patient access to innovation.
The Head of Health System Partnerships builds and leads Roches capability to translate innovation into system-ready financeable and scalable care solutions. The role demonstrates VACC leadership by setting clear direction building practical system solutions enabling collaboration and developing people to deliver results. The focus is on implementation partnerships that enable real-world adoption of care models financing mechanisms and system capacity working in close collaboration with other EAI teams Disease Area teams Global Access Diagnostics regions and affiliates.
The Head of Health System Partnerships is a member of the External Affairs International Leadership Team and reports to the Head of External Affairs International.
What You Will Do
Develop and lead Roches implementation partnership strategy focused on care delivery models financing pathways and system capacity building.
Identify investment cases for pilots that translate into scalable multi-country implementation models supported by practical blueprints and toolkits.
Build and steer partnerships with global institutions insurers investors NGOs and delivery partners to operationalize solutions such as screening pathways digital platforms and sustainable funding and financing models.
Establish pragmatic governance and clear guardrails for system partnerships ensuring models are adaptable usable and consistent across markets.
Advanced degree in economics public health international relations business or a related field; equivalent senior experience considered (affiliate experience an advantage).
10 years experience at the intersection of health systems financing and large-scale implementation across public private and/or multilateral settings.
Proven enterprise leadership setting direction prioritising investments and guiding complex work across functions and geographies.
Strong track record building and leading senior-level partnerships with governments institutions payers investors or delivery networks.
Sound strategic judgment with the ability to move from concept to scalable execution.
Experience leading and developing senior professionals with credibility at executive level.
