Boeing Canada Winnipeg (BCW) is seeking a Senior Supply Chain Fulfillment Manager(Level L) to lead our Fulfillment and Tooling teambased out of Winnipeg Canada.

The role requires strong partnership with Leaders across multifunctional teams including Operations Engineering and Quality. The ideal candidate will have a background in Supply Chain Manufacturing Operations and experience motivating others to meet challenging business goals and objectives; the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously; and the ability to partner effectively with internal/external stakeholders customers & suppliers.

The successful candidate will lead managers and teams responsible for analyzing supply chain material requirements developing and optimizing inventory planning and synchronizing supply chain this role you will discover new opportunities and solutions for business problems by looking beyond current practices and using innovative thinking. This role requires blending strategic thinking with on-the-ground execution enabling the organization to improve systems business policies processes and efficiencies.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Possess a mindset of safety and quality; influence the team to exhibit Boeing Values and Behaviors

  • Manage develop and motivate a diverse team of employees and first-level managers both in non-bargaining unit and bargaining unit positions. Lead mentor and develop a multidisciplinary team of technicians planners material coordinators and logistics/support personnel

  • Establish partnerships and relationships with internal and external customers stakeholders peers and direct reports. Build strategic cross-functional and cross-organizational partnerships to resolve problems improve processes or achieve goals. Collaborate with other Boeing subsidiaries & Airplane Programs Fulfillment organizations to standardize common processes and apply best practices

  • Acquire and provides technical management of resources for projects and processes and leads process improvements to improve compliance increase throughput and find efficiency

  • Provides input on the development of departmental business and technical strategies goals objectives and related metrics to ensure alignment with Company vision/strategy. Measures performance to plan for multiple projects

  • Holds first-level managers accountable for achieving goals

  • Createa a culture of continuous improvement by communicating/deploying enterprise best practices and employee engagement to improve cost quality delivery employee job satisfaction and customer satisfaction. Charters process improvement teams and modify departmental structures to improve operating effectiveness

This position is 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at Winnipeg Manitoba Canada location.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5 years with one or more of the following functions: Supply Chain Materials Management Manufacturing Operations Production Engineering Industrial Engineering Quality or Program Management

  • 5 years of experience leading teams in a formal and/or informal role

  • 5 years of experience analyzing and applying metrics to enable key business decisions and process improvement

  • Must be legally able to work in Canada

  • Individual must not pose a risk for safeguarding of controlled goods

  • Must be eligible to handle US export-controlled data

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelors degree or higher

  • Experience with materials management inventory control supplier interface and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems to manage flow of material and resources

  • Experience with safety and quality processes with a proven ability to execute on commitments

  • Analytical skills problem solving critical thinking and leading cross functionally

This requisition is for a locally hired position in Canada. The employer is Boeing Canada. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Canada. Benefits and pay are determined by Canada and are not on Boeing US-based payroll. This is not an expatriate assignment.
