The Lake Joseph Club is Hiring aHost/ Expo for the Waters Edge!
The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic. As a Host at the Waters Edge you will be the first point of contact for our guests ensuring they have a warm and welcoming experience from the moment they arrive. Additionally you will assist in the efficient and smooth flow of food from the kitchen to the dining room ensuring orders are accurate and timely.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide quality service to guests
- Assistin the setting and clearing of tables in the Bistro
- Assist with prompt food service
- EnsureBistro is kept in a clean and well maintained manner
- Takereservations from guests
- Maintainfloor plan and arrangeseating in the Bistro
- Handleguest concerns & inquiries
- Communicating orders and information from Front of House to Back of House.
QUALIFICATIONS & TECHNICAL SKILLS
- Experience preferred but not required
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of wines fine food is a definite asset
- Previous experience with the Squirrel POS system is an asset
- Post-Secondary courses related to hospitality an asset
- Ability to work well under pressure and independently
- A self-starter and team player
- Smart Serve certification an asset
- Legal age to serve alcoholic beverages
ADDITIONAL DETAILS
- Able to work a variety of shifts includingevenings andweekends.
- This is a seasonal position from May 2026- October 2026
