Job Summary

Position Summary:

With little or no assistance a level three machinist will operate: 3-5 axis CNC machines conventional mills and lathes. Ability to produce complex aerospace parts. Demonstrates advanced cross training flexibility such as first part run and full machine recovery. Level three machinists have the ability to complete complex setups on 3-5 axis machines. They will be able to apply advanced blueprint and GD&T reading of complex production inspection processes. Level three machinists will also be able to edit programs and write simple programs to make tooling. Competencies include trouble shooting complex parts.

Equipment Setup Technique
- Complex part/tooling setup
- Machine accuracy verification
Job Start Readiness
- Verify complex part layout
Machine Operation
- G-Code application
- Program edits F/S adding passes
- Basic programmer simple tooling
- First run proofing
- Full machine recover

- CNC Machines: Haas Matsuura DMG
- CNC Machine Controls: Fanuc Yasnac Siemens

Quality

Level of Education:

High School Diploma or GED.
4-6 years of machining experience.

Work Schedule:WeekendShift

Friday through Sunday 6:00 am to 6:30 pm.
