The Boeing CompanyBoeing Defense Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Staff Analyst - Space Launch System to join the Space Launch System (SLS) program in Huntsville AL.
This position will be part of the Propulsion team and support programmatic financial operational and data-driven decisions. The analyst is responsible for conducting research performing quantitative and qualitative analyses preparing briefings and reports facilitating large meetings/events and coordinating cross-functional activities/deliverables. This role will also support the SLS change process and have oversight of drawing release tracking for the Propulsion team requiring strong analytical skills attention to detail and the ability to communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Leads the development planning and execution of employee-related activities and initiatives.
Partners with organization leaders on long-range strategies organizational goals objectives and initiatives.
Reviews and evaluates strategic organizational issues and identifies implementation recommendations.
Provides continuous assessment of overall meeting/review architecture.
Analyzes and summarizes data used in the development and proposal of organizational direction (e.g. budget information workforce levels training requirements and equipment/facility needs).
Develops executive level briefings.
Leads the design logistics and facilitation of large meetings/events.
Leads the development and maintenance of the project schedule and budget; monitors and tracks execution of the plan and communicates status.
Plans and coordinates organizational facility requirements.
Leads the development and deployment of training content.
Collaborates with subject matter experts suppliers partners and customers to deploy broad organizational training.
Manage document/drawing updates to facilitate on-time release commitments.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience):
10 years of relevant professional experience
Experience with SLS Program Change Process
Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint)
Demonstrated problem solving critical thinking and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong interpersonal skills and experience working in cross-functional teams.
