Job Summary

To be based at one of the participating PHOs Tū Ora Compass Health Pinnacle THINK Hauora or Pegasus Health.

Practice Plus provides virtual telehealth services and encourages practices to refer and direct patients and whānau to access the service which provides a practical solution to help general practices and urgent care centres to manage patient demand for routine and episodic care. It has been purposefully designed to complement rather than compete with general practice services.

What Youll Do

Lead and grow a nationwide virtual telehealth service.
Build strong partnerships with PHOs clinicians and stakeholders.
Oversee efficient high-quality patient-centred service delivery.
Drive innovation in telehealth technology and care models.
Ensure clinical safety quality and strong governance.
Represent and advocate for Practice Plus across the health sector.

Essential Skills and Experience

Executive leadership experience in health or telehealth
Strong knowledge of New Zealands primary healthcare and digital health
Proven ability to build partnerships and lead teams to achieve strategic goals
Experience in operational management business development and change management
Financial and contract management expertise
Excellent communication stakeholder engagement and interpersonal skills
Sound understanding of clinical governance telehealth systems and virtual care models
Commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and health equity
Resilient adaptable and skilled in problem-solving and planning
