Originally established in 1935 we are a dynamic multi-disciplinary property and construction consultancy providing a wide range of services across many industry sectors including commercial education defence residential and more.
We develop long term relationships with clients adding value at every stage of development. We are one of a few medium-sized consultancies offering integrated design and technical expertise.
We have a nationwide presence with offices located across the UK. We plan to open further sites in the future to develop our national service.

The role
We are currently recruiting an Associate Structural Engineer to join our team in our London office.
The role will involve assisting in the provision and promotion of a professional structural engineering service to the Practice and its clients. This is a leadership position where you will oversee project delivery manage client relationships and support the development of our talented team. You will work on new build and refurbishment projects across a range of sectors including commercial low-rise housing public buildings and healthcare.
Please Note: This role may be subject to Disclosure and Barring Service Baseline Personnel Security Standard Counter Terrorist Check Security Check or Developed Vetting clearance.
The selected candidate will
- Lead and manage structural engineering projects from concept to completion.
- Provide technical leadership and ensure design quality across the team.
- Coordinate multi-disciplinary design teams and manage project resources.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships as a key point of contact.
- Prepare and review technical reports specifications and drawings.
- Contribute to fee proposals bids and business development activities.
- Ensure compliance with legislation standards and BIM protocols.
- Monitor project budgets timelines and deliverables.
- Mentor and support junior engineers and technicians.
- Represent the practice at client meetings site visits and industry events.
Essential skills experience and attributes
- MEng or BEng in Structural or Civil Engineering.
- Chartered Membership (IStructE or ICE).
- Excellent communication problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Excellent written English and report writing skills.
- Proven track record managing multi-disciplinary teams.
- Familiarity with BIM Level 2 and ISO 19650 standards.
- Strong leadership communication and client-facing skills.
