ASMR Product Video Creator

smartdept. is searching for an ASMR Product Video Creator for a consumer products client supporting an upcoming product launch. The ideal candidate will have experiencecreating short-form product-focused video content with a strong emphasis on sound lighting and visual detail.

This is a project-based fully remote contract opportunity producing approximately six videos total (not all at once). Compensation for this position is expected to be a flat fee per video dependent on experience level and quality of work.

This role will focus on creating ASMR-style social media videos highlighting mainstream consumer products. Videos should be visually engaging sound-driven and optimized for platforms like TikTok and Instagram Reels. The creator will be responsible for the full creative and production process from setup through final delivery.

Videos will range from 1530 seconds and should avoid showing faces focusing instead on product packaging textures and creative product-relevant elements.

What Youll Do:

• Concept shoot and edit ASMR-style short-form videos featuring consumer products

• Capture high-quality sound and visuals without relying on overlays or added effects

• Style products and incorporate creative elements relevant to each item (e.g. ingredients textures props)

• Deliver videos in both vertical and horizontal formats

• Ensure content is optimized for social media platforms

• Manage your own filming environment lighting audio and equipment

• Deliver the first completed video by the end of the month with additional videos produced on a staggered timeline

What Youll Need:

Experience & Skills:

• Experience creating product-focused or ASMR-style video content

• Strong understanding of lighting sound capture and close-up product filming

• Experience producing content specifically for TikTok Instagram Reels or similar platforms

• Ability to work independently and manage projects from start to finish

• Comfortable sourcing commonly available products (with certain items provided/shipped as needed)

• Ability to deliver clean polished exports without heavy post-production effects

• Prior ASMR or tactile-focused content experience

• Product launch or brand storytelling experience

• Familiarity with consumer packaged goods or lifestyle brands
