Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Stand-Up Forklift Operator to join our team in a high-volume spice warehouse. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating stand-up reach trucks and electric pallet jacks to move stack and organize spice and seasoning products throughout the facility. This position plays a key role in maintaining efficient warehouse flow product integrity and accurate inventory control.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate stand-up reach forklifts electric pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment.
- Load and unload pallets of spices seasonings and packaging materials.
- Transport finished goods and raw ingredients to designated storage or production areas.
- Perform accurate product picks for shipping and replenishment.
- Follow warehouse layout to maintain proper rotation (FIFO) and prevent cross-contamination.
- Assist with cycle counts inventory checks and order verification.
- Maintain a clean organized and food-safe work area.
- Report equipment issues product damage or safety hazards immediately to supervision.
- Follow all food safety GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and OSHA regulations.
Qualifications
- 2 year of stand-up forklift experience
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to be certified.
- Prior experience in a food or spice manufacturing warehouse is a plus.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying temperature environments.
- Strong attention to detail safety and cleanliness.
- Reliable attendance and teamwork attitude are essential.
