We are looking for a CRO & Experience Specialist to become the architect of our e-commerce (Shopify) growth.
Reporting to the Head of E-commerce you will own the scientific process of turning traffic into revenue. You wont just run tests; you will own the entire experimentation lifecyclefrom data deep diving and user psychology to no-code implementation on Shopify.
Responsibilities:
1. A/B Testing strategy & roadmap ownership
Scientific prioritization: Own the testing backlog. You use structured frameworks (ICE/PXL) to prioritize opportunities ensuring we focus on high-impact wins rather than random ideas.
Hypothesis generation: Translate business goals (e.g. Increase cross-sell Reduce checkout abandonment) into testable user scenarios based on behavioral psychology and data.
2. No-Code implementation & visual merchandising
Shopify theme mastery: You are a master of the Shopify Customizer. You leverage our existing theme sections and templates to build high-converting page layouts without needing a developer.
Copywriting & logic: You understand that design is often about the words and the flow. You write persuasive headers value propositions and CTAs that fit the layout and drive conversion.
Rapid prototyping: you sketch quick wireframes then build them directly in the Shopify editor for speed and efficiency.
3. Advanced data analysis
Deep dive into GA4 Shopify reports and Heatmaps (Clarity/LogRocket) to diagnose friction like why users are dropping off at different funnel steps.
Statistical rigor: You are the guardian of data integrity. You determine sample sizes and ensure we never call a test early based on false positives.
4. Test setup & operations
Execution: Set up experiments in our testing platform (VWO) with precision.
Collaboration: Work hand-in-hand with our Operations Manager & QA to ensure complex tests are bug-free before launch and effectively handed over for permanent implementation.
5. Lead gen strategy:
- Own the logic and optimization of on-site lead capture (pop-ups gamification) to maximize our email database growth.
