Job Role: Code/Dev Security Engineer

How Youll Make an Impact
A core member of the Cyber Security Engineering job family you will drive the integration of security tools and practices into the DevOps process. You will automate security gates within the CI/CD pipeline manage SAST/DAST/SCA tooling and serve as a security champion for development teams. Your mission is to accelerate secure development and ensure all code deployed is free of critical vulnerabilities.
Required Skills:
Minimum 5 years of experience in application security or development security engineering.
Deep practical experience with CI/CD platforms (e.g. Jenkins GitLab Azure DevOps) and automation scripting (e.g. Python Bash).
Experience configuring and tuning commercial and open-source SAST/DAST/SCA tools.
Ability to perform detailed security code reviews and mentor developers on secure coding principles.
Preferred Education:
Bachelors degree in information technology Software Engineering or a related discipline.
CSSLP or AWS/Azure Developer certifications with a security specialization.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with open-source security policy management.
Familiarity with serverless security and container technologies (Docker Kubernetes).
