Senior Packaging Specialist

L.is seeking an experienced Senior Packaging Specialist to join our team in Freeport Maine.In this position you will play a key role in designing and improving packaging solutions that meet consumers needsfor our direct retail and wholesalechannels.In this role you will serve as a subject matter expert on cross-functional teams influencing packaging and labeling strategies that balance performance innovation sustainability compliance andcost.

The Senior Packaging Specialistalsoleadspackaging processactivitiesassessing existingprocessesand implementing newones for organization or efficiency.This position emphasizes creative problem-solving technical execution and collaboration.Youllwork closely with internal partners and external suppliers to deliver packaging design and process solutions that help to elevate the L.brand.

Key Responsibilities

• Developmaintain and communicate packaging and labeling standards to vendors and suppliers.

• Ensure vendor adherence to packaging specifications labelingand regulatoryrequirements and quality standards throughout the product lifecycle.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of packaging trends / industry trends

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory requirements and emerging technologies.

• Prepare manage andretainaccuratepackaging specifications and regulatory documentation within internal systems.

• Identifyand pursue new packaging concepts and technologies with strategic suppliers to support innovation sustainability and cost savings.

• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to manage timelines communicate risks and ensure delivery of businessobjectives.

• Serve as a technical advisor to address packaging labeling and process issues driving corrective actions and continuous improvement.

• Lead medium-high complexity projects providing technical guidance and accountability for milestones and deliverables.

• Represent the Packaging function in cross-functional initiatives and strategic planning efforts.

• Other duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Packaging Industrial Design or related field preferred.

• 5 years of relevant experience preferred

• Strong organizational skills

• Proven problem solving and decision-making skills

• Ability tomultitaskand prioritize work

• Excellent written and verbal communications skills

• Resilient and able to effectively navigate ambiguous situations

• Ability to effectively communicate across multiple internal departments and levels as well as with vendors.

• Proficient inMicrosoft Office (Outlook Excel WordPowerPoint) and Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator in particular)

• Proficiencyin Microsoft OfficeSuite. Experiencewith Adobe Creative Suite PLM systems or Warehouse Management Systems is a plus.

• Knowledgeof Fulfillment systems and operations

• Demonstrates leadership skills

• Willingness to continue to learn assess and suggest new systems and technologies

• Experience with consumer products or retailcompaniesis a plus.
