JOB TITLE: Sr. Supervisor Continuos Improvement Location: Santiago Working Model: On site Schedule: 8:00 am - 5:30 pm GENERAL DESCRIPTION OR PURPOSE OF JOB: This role is responsible for the delivery of process innovation and continuous improvement initiatives across multi-jurisdictions. It will play an important role in helping to foster a culture of sustainable change through the creation and embedding of LEAN methodology and the supporting framework to deliver business transformation. RESPONSIBILITIES / ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: - Identify analyze and implement improvement opportunities collaborating with the business areas to form a strong and effective team dynamic.
- Develop and implement effective Visual Management solutions; Produce data and metrics to provide visibility to track and evidence savings which will support benefit realization. Dashboard and Scorecard Reporting.
- Coordinate and support managers in generating saving projects and achieving them by using and analyzing data.
- Coordinate and manage all corporative standard tools.
- Responsible for evaluating the efficiency and costs of established processes.
- Overseeing the implementation of new business processes
- Provide ongoing post implementation support for completed projects.
Required: - BS BA or similar degree or equivalent.
- Formal Lean Manufacturing experience (Lean Six Sigma Toyota Production System Kaizen Value Stream Mapping 5s etc).
- Bilingual (English/Spanish).
- MS office proficient.
- 4 years experience in process optimization operations or business management.
- Strong written/verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Pro-active with the ability to work under your own initiative in a fast paced and high-pressure environment.
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to coach individually or in small groups/teams manage projects (multiple projects) and apply conflict management skills.
- Clear and logical thinker
- Pro-active with the ability to work under your own initiative in a fast paced and high-pressure environment.
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Self-motivated results-oriented and very well organized
- Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed.
- Capacity to address business problems requiring some judgment and interpretation
- Team worker. Able to work autonomously with an adaptable and positive approach and the desire to succeed.
- Able to solve complex problems and prioritize multiple tasks.
Preferred: - 5 years experience in manufacturing.
- Degree in Industrial Engineering or similar
- Six Sigma Certification.
- Availability to work overtime and weekends as needed.
