Position Overview:

Join the Multifamily (MF) Technology & Operational Risk Financial Crimes Operations team as a Financial Crimes Professional Analyst. The Operations team manages daily activities drives technology initiatives and generates reports on key metrics and analytics. The position requires seamless collaboration across the Enterprise (MF Single-Family and Enterprise Risk Management) to ensure compliance with financial crimes regulations and laws.

Our Impact:

  • The MF Financial Crimes team in partnership with internal business groups and our Seller/Servicer network is responsible for the prevention detection investigation and reporting of suspicious activity on the origination and ongoing monitoring of multifamily loans.
  • Responsible for ensuring the MF Divisions adherence to FHFA FinCEN OFAC and other regulatory requirements and directives.

Your Impact:

  • Manage the primary mailbox for receiving tips and inquiries.
  • Provide initial assessment and prioritization of fraud tips received.
  • Assist with internal and external monthly quarterly ad-hoc reporting deliverables.
  • Assist the team in reviewing revising and developing departmental procedures and controls.
  • Support internal business groups in addressing/mitigating KYC screening issues and perform negative news/enhanced due diligence requests.
  • Support the team with various Financial Crimes technology and operations strategic efforts.
  • Contribute to and participate in ongoing and ad hoc projects.
  • Identify opportunities for operational improvements and enhancements through both daily responsibilities and special project involvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Finance Business Administration or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 2-4 years of related experience with regulatory compliance programs (BSA/AML OFAC KYC) preferred; 1 year of related experience in multifamily real estate helpful
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word PowerPoint and Excel (including V-lookups pivot tables data filtering)
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail-oriented accurate and able to meet deadlines under time constraints

  • Demonstrated ability to maintain high standards of quality and accuracy while effectively managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Collaborate with internal business partners senior management and other stakeholders on matters that often require coordination across various business lines.
  • Excellent visual written and verbal communication skills and ability to present to senior leadership/management.
  • Proactive forward-thinking and intellectually curious.
  • Discretion in handling sensitive information preserving confidentiality.

This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $108000 - $160000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position experience skill set internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
