Pay: $17$21 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Full-Time MondayFriday 8:30am5:30pm
- Lead and manage a 2-year-old (Preppers) classroom
- Create a safe nurturing and engaging learning environment
- Implement play-based curriculum and daily learning activities
- Support language development social skills routines and independence
- Communicate daily with families about progress and milestones
- Supervise and support assistant teachers
- Maintain classroom cleanliness organization and safety
- Follow all Virginia childcare licensing and health regulations
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous childcare experience is required
- Experience leading or working in a toddler or preschool classroom strongly preferred
- Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP)
- CPR/First Aid preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- Must meet all Virginia childcare licensing requirements
- Reliable energetic and confident leading a classroom
