The BGS P-8 Sustainment program is seeking a Systems Engineer (Associate or Mid-Level) to join our dynamic team leading the way in Integrated Health Management Systems (IHMS) in Tukwila Washington. Our Engineers work in a highly dynamic environment collecting data analyzing data and making actionable recommendations to enable critical product improvements and support decisions.

Position Responsibilities:

• Perform prime Reliability and Maintainability (R&M) and Health Management System (HMS) analysis functions in support of our Navy R&M customer and the Reliability Control Board
• Perform data acquisition management and reporting to support design maintenance logistics and business development throughout the product lifecycle
• Apply analysis results and make recommendations to product teams and system support/supportability to influence design and comply with requirements
• Define develop and implement processes and tools needed to execute system health functions and engineering supportability across the program and to improve productivity accuracy quality and efficiency
• Perform and document system health validation and verification activities to assess adherence to specifications
• Research analyze and compile technical data for company products and system-level concepts in the projected operational environments to optimize effectiveness over the program lifecycle
• Apply system processes methodologies and tools to design systems and new product development

Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including; Associate or Mid-Level System Engineers.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology) Computer Science Data Science Mathematics Physics Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
• 2 years of experience in technical or engineering field
• Experience with C Python or Java
• Experience with Data Analytics tools
• Experience with Linux

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• 5 years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Active Secret Clearance
• Systems Engineering experience using tools such as Windchill BORIS and other common tools.
• Experience with analyzing field data commercial derivative aircraft
• P-8 mission and aircraft systems background
