Job Summary/Description:

Gray Digital Media is seeking a Data Analyst to manage connect and transform news content and audience data. This role will focus on building and maintaining data pipelines ensuring data quality and accuracy and preparing information for dashboards reporting and visualization tools. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented experienced with data integration and analytics and eager to turn raw data into actionable business insights.

We are seeking a data-driven forward-thinking analyst to join our team as a Data Solutions Analyst. This role will be at the core of how GDM connects transforms and visualizes our core owned & operated news content data. The right candidate will not only manage data but also establish the processes that ensure quality accuracy and usability across the business.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who loves building systems improving workflows and turning raw data into insights that make a real impact.

Duties/Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

Data Connections & Pipelines Establish and maintain integrations between first- and third-party data sources ensuring accuracy and reliability.
Data Quality & Strategy Implement strategies processes and monitoring tools to ensure data integrity and consistency.
Data Transformation & Preparation Develop and maintain pipelines that clean structure and prepare data for analysis and visualization.
Visualization & Reporting Support dashboards and reports that turn complex data into actionable insights for news teams.
Continuous Improvement Identify opportunities to optimize data workflows and proactively recommend solutions that improve efficiency and decision-making.

Qualifications/Requirements:

- Bachelors degree in data science computer technology or a similar field
- 2 years of experience in data analysis
- Strong knowledge of Google Analytics (GA4) Google Tag Manager
- Experience working with social media data
- Experience with dashboard visualization tools (LookerStudio Domo Power BI etc.)
- Prior experience working with news content preferred
